Golden South Sea pearls are among the rarest and most sought-after pearls in the world. They are also exceedingly difficult to produce, growing in only a few remote locations throughout South East Asia. The golden pearl set in this pendant was grown in the warm, tropical waters near Palawan in the Philippines.
